"Design is not the narrow application of formal skills, it is a way of thinking"
    - Chris Pullman

As a graphic designer I am a problem solver at heart. I strive to deliver the most effective solutions at the highest standards. And of course I have fun while doing so, otherwise what's the point!

    side note.

I did manage to resist adding "excellent high five skills" to my resume, but if you're looking for awesome high fives, feel free to note that I am also great at that. I've been known to dabble in fist bumps as well.

Some of my art & design heroes are James Jean, Skottie Young, Milton Glaser, Shepard Fairey, and Banksy, just to name a few.

Welcome to my piece of the interwebs

Before we get into the nitty gritty of my professional life, here's a little about me.

Aside from my love of art + design, I'm a comic book geek and a tech nerd. I love all kinds of music, seriously, even country and musicals. I love taking my creativity into the kitchen [or out onto the grill] and whipping up a delicious meal to feed to my friends and family. I dabble in home brewing and I've been caught spending rainy Sunday mornings with my Xbox.

Mommy, Where Do Terabytes Come From?

Terabyte

The majority of us know that a terabyte is a basically a unit of measurement for digital information. But that in itself isn't very fun is it? You can't take a terabyte to the park, it won't play a game of pick up basketball and it would make a lousy dance partner.

But what if, instead of being an inanimate object, the terabyte was a living creature?

Draw a Dinosaur Day

About 6 years ago a good friend of mine, who is fascinated with dinosaurs, had a brilliant idea; Lets create Draw A Dinosaur Day. The point of the day wasn't to show off or to be the best but more of a day to allow yourself, if even for a few moments, to be creative.
